Forming the first stage of the Annelid life cycle, Grubs are biologically female. They are small, wormlike creatures that crawl along the ground, pursuing any humans they can detect. The EMP grenades don't hurt you, but can potentially leave you open to attack while your vision is disrupted. Overview Grubs are among the simplest annelid life forms bred by the Many. Be careful when fighting them, as they shoot fast and can kill you in just a few shots. On the left hand they have a huge claw, which they use to throw EMP grenades (the latter just scramble the vision for a few seconds doing no damage).Īs with all Cyborgs, the Laser Rapier is the best remedy against them, with the Magnum 2100 Pistol also being a good option. Enforcers use some kind of energy rifle attached to their right hand. These Cyborgs seem to be converted female members of the crew and are easily recognized by their brown armor, mechanized legs and green visor. One of SHODAN's more powerful guards, the Enforcers first appear on the Storage Level and are by far most commonly found on the Engineering Level. Officially, OSA is a research branch of the UNN, but rumours claim that it also acts as UNN’s black ops. The level contains many of the Stations support and communications systems, including the primary antenna relays. The OSA is a newer branch of the UNN, grounded in the newly established Psionic Disciplines, and already has acquired a rather dark reputation as a group of spooks. Systems Engineering is the Level 7 of Citadel Station. With this said, the Minipistol's Teflon Rounds and Mag-Pulse shots are very effective. The Cyborg Enforcer is an enemy encountered in System Shock. The OSA (or rarely O.S.A.) is one of the principal organizations in System Shock 2. They aren't too dangerous if they don't see the player.Ĭyborg Drones are quite weak and susceptible to any type of damage, so almost any weapon will do well against them. A Marine can choose to start the game with this weapon. This weapon relies on refracted light to damage its target, while the energy bolt projectile shown in-game is fast and small. Their weapon is presumably an ML-41 Minipistol. The Apollo H4 Argon-Suspension Laser Pistol is a weapon in System Shock 2, and is the most basic Energy Weapon. When not fighting, Drones will wander about until they spot the player. They are met on the first level, usually as the first type of Cyborg. The Cyborg Drone is an enemy encountered in System Shock.ĭrones resemble crew members with mechanical parts added to their bodies.
